Quarterly Lecture Series: A Catholic Consistent Life Ethic
Join us for our Fall Quarterly Lecture at St Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church!
The CMA Quarterly Lecture series brings together Catholic healthcare professionals and those interested in Catholic bioethics to grow in their understanding of church teaching and how it applies to their daily lives. The night also includes time in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament to grow in relationship with Jesus and opportunities to socialize with other Catholics passionate about healthcare, medicine, and bioethics.
We are excited to have Deacon Dr. Callister from the Diocese of Reno to speak on the Catholic consistent life ethic, particularly in light of the abortion ammendment on the ballot this fall. Deacon Dr. Callister is a board-certified internal medicine and hospitalist specialist who is nationally recognized as an expert in hospital care transitions and end-of-life care. He is a Professor of Medicine and the Director of Rural Medical Education for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. He is also the Governor of Nevada for the American College of Physicians.
Don't miss this opportunity to learn something new and connect with others in our community. Mark your calendar and invite your friends!
